We are privelideged to be a part of the Smoky Mountain Wedding Association. The Smoky Mountain Wedding Association is a group of wedding professionals that are vendors as well as owners of venues that get together every other month. This month our meeting was at the Swann Plantation.
The Swann Plantation was built over 130 years ago by the Murphy family. It sits on a hilltop overlooking the Little Pigeon river. The property still holds part of the original road into Sevierville. From the porch, you can see the Smoky Mountains and a large portion of the river valley.
The estate features a mansion, a two-bedroom guest house, a large horse barn, a dairy barn, a carriage house, a smoke house, a grain silo and horse arena. The property sprawls over 50 acres, and offers many different areas for your unique wedding.
We all experienced a wedding while at the meeting. The Formal Wear was from Unforgettable Rentals, and Laurel Strings played beautifully. The bride’s hair and make-up was done by Southern Vintage Beauty. The bride, flower girls and ring bearer arrived via the horse and carriage that Swann Plantation has as part of one of their wedding packages. It was a beautiful ceremony done by Reverend Ray Morris.
The meeting was held in the old smokehouse on property. Warren Weddings did a beautiful job on planning the event. The centerpieces and the bride’s bouquet were from LB Floral, china was provided by Unique Settings, and Chef Tony Catering provided an amazing meal for our meeting. Sound Biscuit provided a stage for the DJ which was Sound Revue.
The Smoky Mountain Wedding Association will be in the Pink Bridal Show in Nashville. Ron and I will be there to help with the booth. If you need assistance with planning your wedding. We would love to help. Call Today! 865-712-1854
