What wedding colors were you thinking for your wedding in 2023? Whether you choose spring, summer, fall, or winter, here are some ideas that can help you with your planning.

Spring Wedding Colors

According to Pantone and the Saphire Event Group, the Wedding Colors for spring of 2023 is Very Peri, as shown above. Traditionally Spring colors are white, yellow, pastel blue, and pastel green.

Some flower ideas are Blue Delphinium, White Daisies, and Queen Anne’s Lace as well as assorted grasses, Babies Breath, or small spring flowers, to fill out the bouquet. Then for decorations, white linen with accents of pastels, potpourri jars with wedding flowers as a centerpiece, or even smaller jars as a wedding favor. Simple yet elegant decorations.

Summer Colors

For a summer wedding, Pantone’s Fuchsia Fedora. The colors are bold and bright, or maybe a little lighter. Yellow is carried over from spring, a sky blue instead of pastel, fuchsia, lavender, and bright cheery green. Amazing results are achieved using the natural yellows and greens of the summer and even the early fall.

Some flower ideas are Lavender, Daffodils, bright Sweet Peas, Poppies, Fringed Tulips, Bluebonnet, Thistle, or other summer flowers that are in season to fill out the bouquet. You can use little flowers in small cups, mason jars, or have candles to help set the mood in your reception hall and use off white linens or earth-tones with a splash of color to match your taste. If a rustic theme, small mason jars with jams or jellies and a fabric wrap is very popular as wedding favors.

Fall Wedding Colors

Fall wedding colors are Pantone’s Gold Flake. More burnt orange, red, a darker yellow, dark purple, or chocolate. Chrysanthemums, Violets, Sage, Aster, Calle Lilies, Red Roses, Hydrangeas and other fall flowers are perfect for fall. Candy bars are very popular in the fall with goody bags as favors.

Winter Colors

Winter wedding colors are darker than fall. For 2023 Emerald seems to be the prediction. You can include white, black deep green and dark reds including red velvet. Decorations are cooler, such as silvers or “ice” looking. Flowers can include red and white Roses, Cedar Boughs, Holly, Birch Bark, You can even have neutral flowers for your bouquet such as White Roses, and Calla Lilies, mix and match different varieties of white flowers. Wedding favors could be mini mason jars with hot cocoa mix and mini-marshmallows.

One option that will work for most seasons throughout the year is Pantone’s Mykonos Blue. These colors are quite versatile and are always in style.

This season, they are looking for bridesmaids to be wearing not only their favorite style in their chosen color. But a different color that fits your color scheme. Have some fun with fashion and color this year!

I hope this blog gives you some fun ideas for your wedding.
